Several enhancements in the IO view.
Bug Fixes
The following sections list the bugs that were present in AVR Studio 4.13 SP1, but that have been fixed in SP2. Several other minor bugs has also been fixed. Please also see the specific tools help books for a listing of bug fixes in specific tools.
4065: If selecting a device that did not support the current programming mode, the indicated programming mode in the dialog would change automatically to one supported by the device, but the JTAGICE mkII would not change its mode.
4742: Added strlen() function to the AVR Assembler preprocessor.
4835, 5132: The feedback when an error occurs in the programming dialog has been improved. There are now separate error messages for file errors, connection errors, programming errors etc.
5469: The edit boxes in the IO view would not let go of the focus when enter or escape was pressed. This has been fixed.
5658: 16Mhz was not listed in the "Frequency" drop down menu when using the simulator and AT90CAN128. This has been fixed.
6366: The "Font and Color" item on edit menu was grayed out when the contents of the editor was not saved. This has been fixed.
6367: The context menu item "Show next statement" did not work from a line without source code mapping. This has been fixed.
6411: The I/O view did not remember the selected sort order between sessions. This has been fixed.
6419: Compiling a project in WinAVR in AVR Studio sometimes would crash on Windows Vista. This has been fixed.
6428: The tool tip in the IO view would some times display erroneous info when the windows was in 'tree view' mode. This has been fixed.
6519: The boot start address in the boot size fuse settings for 644/644P was set to F000-FE00. This has been changed to 7000-7E00.
6587: AVR Studio could crash on Vista when selecting "Remove all breakpoints". This has been fixed.
6615: Fixed an error in the ADC voltage reference selection combo box in the IO view for ATmega1280/1281/1284P/164P/2560/2561/324P/640/644/644P and ATtiny48.
6651: The IO view now indicates clearly if an undefined value is specified for a configuration register.
6698: The interrupt names in the XML file for ATtiny25/45/85 has been corrected according to the device data sheet.
3969: FLASH/EEPROM programming in ISP mode is now limited to ISP frequencies above 5kHz to avoid communication time-outs during programming.

Congratulation with your STK600 AVR® Flash MCU Starter Kit. The STK600 is a complete starter kit and development system for the AVR and AVR®32 flash microcontrollers from ATMEL® Corporation. It is designed to give designers a quick start to develop code on the AVR, combined with advanced features for using the starter kit to prototype and test new designs.
New firmware releases for STK600 are embedded with the releases of AVR Studio®. The upgrade process will start when you connect to the STK600 board (you will be asked to perform the procedure). If for some reason the automatic upgrade fails, please try the manual upgrade procedure.
