1) where to place the sensor? likely inside the tires;
2) where to mount the sensor? it can be mounted on the rim (typically OEM systems) or on the valve (aftermarket systems);
3) how to transmit the data? likely wirelessly, via close-proximaty RF;
4) how to power the sensor? likely via battery. it is also possible to power it via RF - that's a million-dollar advice.

once you have the four questions answered, you have solved 90% of the design issues.

the market for aftermarket TPMS is huge and you can be a billionaire if you can make a good aftermarket system there.

TPMS啊，这个东西不好搞哦。有人做过放在轮胎里然后无线发射出来，但是问题很多很多，
最重要的就是电池问题，放轮胎里用不了多久就没电了。

其实TPMS的难点不在电子，也不在软件，难的是可靠性，难的是市场。其实做这一块的国内供应商也不少，就是没成气候的。。
