Xmega是8位AVR的强劲性能升级版本
AVR XMEGA扩展了8位微控制器的市场领域。
XMEGA采用了第二代picoPower技术,是唯一真正使用1.6V工作电压的闪存微控制器。该系列器件的功耗超低,并具有快速12位模拟功能、一个DMA控制器、一个创新的事件系统,以及一个AES加密引擎,全部都无需占用CPU资源,能够最大限度地减少功耗和提高系统性能。
通过先进的AVR CPU,Atmel能够同时服务于8位和16位微控制器市场。由于旧式8位和16位CPU无法满足客户的要求,许多竞争对手被迫提供32位产品,但却难以在价格、功耗、易用性、EMC性能和模拟功能方面取得平衡。AVR XMEGA将Atmel的picoPower技术与扩展的任务处理能力,以及先进的外设三者结合,发展成为一个广泛的器件系列。
XMEGA系列微控制器的闪存容量从16至384KB不等,采用44至100脚的封装,工作电压为1.6V至3.6V,32MHz频率下处理性能可达到32MIPS。XMEGA器件是通用的微控制器,适合各种应用。
