Assignment at the EWI/ICD-chair of the University of Twente
"Feeding Hot to be really cool"
Without food there is no life and with better food, you can perform better. This applies not only forwell performing people, but also for our high performance Integrated Circuits ( ICs).

Introduction

At ICD we design many ICs with such high performance that just measuring it is rather challenging . We do have quite expensive measurement equipment, able to measure very accurate up till very high frequencies. All external interferences and non-idealities have to be as small as possible for good measurements.
In the latest communication technologies we work with supply voltages of around 1 Volt, and these must be very stable and almost noise free. Only if we use a very good power supplywe can achieve and demonstrate the excellent specifications of our IC designs.
Batteries are basically good enough, but the voltage is difficult to regulate without a polluting electronic circuit. Additionally batterydischarge providing voltage drop which is rather annoying for prolonged use. Commercially hardly appropriate sources are available for these low voltages and certainly not with the desired specs we have….

Assignment
The purpose of this assignmentis to improve an already realized completely new type of power supply by investigating its drawbacks and do suggestions to overcome them. In the end an improved, very low noise, power supply have to be realized.
Description:
The proposed supply exists of two Peltier elements, that are thermally coupled to a hotplate to transfer heat energy in electric power. Furthermore a (PC) forced cooling with heat pipes is used to help regulating the output voltage of this supply. The basic idea to make use of Peltier elements is that they do have a low impedance and it is presumed that they will have little noise contribution. Higher frequency components will be filtered out by the large time constant of the temperature gradient.

话说回来,这assignment还是自己研究去吧,学术界的歪风不能助长。

思路在另一贴已经说了啊,归根究底就是温控,你起码应该自己动手做了碰到难题再来问吧?
