棒子研制的忆阻器
Researchers in South Korea are the first to make a bendable digital memory that can store data without constant power. Such memories could find applications in ||electronic paper|| for more comfortable reading and in wearable computers, which could be used in medical monitoring and treatment.While the concept of the memristor was first proposed in 1971, it was not until 2008 that the first practical device was made.
1971年，柏克莱加州大学的蔡少堂预测忆阻器的出现，之后，研究人员在多种二元金属氧化物和钙钛矿结构的薄膜中发现了电场作用下的电阻变化，并应用到了下一代非挥发性存储器-阻抗存储器(RRAM)中。2008年4月，惠普公司公布了基于TiO2的RRAM器件，并首先将RRAM和忆阻器联系起来。
